NOTES: After Scott left the band, we played a couple of shows for the release of Repent or Die, then took a two month break from playing live to write new songs. Right after we began playing out again, Josh Ribakove asked us to appear on "The Music Press Presents" for an interview. We decided to do something a little special...

We had decided earlier that we were never going to release "8 Ball" (over the objections of certain vocal fans), but we thought it would be fun to record a version for the show, along with some of the newer material. As it turned out, the recording didn't turn out well enough for the radio show (one of the newer dubs of "Repent or Die" was played instead), but we decided to do a limited run of tapes of the recording using leftover blanks from Repent.

The recording was done completely live in our rehearsal room (which is why it sounds so terrible). The insert was handwritten and looked completely awful, which was the point. Horrible all the way seemed to be the motif for this tape. For some reason, though, it seemed to go over better than the first, probably because the playing was a lot more inspired, or perhaps people just liked those songs better. Most of what was recorded was used, except for "8 Ball" (for obvious reasons), "Tanglewood Nature Center" (again), "Johnny" (because it was on the first tape) and "Ken & Barbie". The recording of "Cindy" done during the Repent session was tacked on as an unlisted track. (Conspiracy theorists note: this was due to laziness and precedent, not so Scott wouldn't get a credit.)
